The Murakami International Triathlon has grown over the years and is now one of the bigger Triathlon events in Japan. We want to thank all the participating athletes, the support of all the volunteers and the sponsoring companies and organizations, whose joint forces are making this event possible. We are looking forward to seeing an outstanding race from the Japanese and overseas athletes of the NTT Triathlon Japan Cup Ranking Event, which is held simultaniously, giving their best. We hope that all of you, the participating athletes, will be able to perform to your utmost ability, for which you have trained mentally, skillfully and forcefully over a long time. We are proud to set the stage for this event among the scenic nature in the historic castle town of Murakami.
